What a week ahead! Pumpkin themed events are in full swing this week, including the Great Pumpkin Carve (check out are article on it here), a Pumpkin Festival in East Goshen, and more! Several groups are offering spine-chilling ghost tours, and Marshallton is hosting its own Fall event. The Phoenixville area has a coat drive on Friday and Kimberton Waldorf School is hosting a consignment shop. The event transports visitors back to Falls of yesteryear in its nostalgic setting at the Chadds Ford Historic Society. With 12,000 visitors, this incredible tradition is a must-attend event to add to your family’s calendars. This week, we needed a little PTO (that’s Personal, not Paid) as any family does from time to time. However, we did not want to leave everyone without at LEAST a weekend event update, because there are a lot of great things happening! Parents can get excited about two great beer events, the Chili Cook-Off is Sunday in West Chester, several more fall fests and markets Saturday, and service projects out of Coatesville and Honey Brook make the end of this week a great one.
